Do I need a control unit for the Heavy Duty window regulator?
In case the vehicle’s standard window switches are not used, a dedicated control unit for the heavy-duty window regulator can be supplied. The 1000 mm / 39 inch long cable is connected directly to the wiring harness of the heavy-duty window regulator via three contact terminals (manufacturer: Wago). Using a rocker switch (water- and dustproof according to IP65), the window regulator can be moved up and down. The switch is only active while being pressed. When released, the window regulator remains in its current position. Power is supplied via the black and red cables.
